Through no fault of their own, Bryan and Joni just happened to schedule their engagement session for the coldest day of winter so far! But with Bryan leaving in a few days for his home state of California, we decided to put a big smile on and make the most of the cold and wind. It ended up being a beautiful day - the sun shone, the light was perfect, and these two got to snuggle and drink coffee together the whole time.
There's a story behind this session! In her dad's backyard is a restored, vintage telephone booth from England that we got to have fun with. Joni, a literary science major, brought along a stack of their favorite books (they love reading together) and a vintage typewriter. Altogether, it was one of the most personalized engagement sessions I've ever shot, and it made the cold day completely worth it.
Bryan and Joni, you two are champs! Thanks for making this session so fun, from your adorable props to the faces you two made at each other right before your burst into laughter. I know your love is long distance, but in just a few months you'll finally get to be right where you belong - together, forever, no matter where your jobs and lives take you.
